The app can handle information that the user enters or creates, including customer and property information, job notes, employee names and hours, pay-rate estimates, fuel and expense records, receipt/job photos, route records, and exported reports. The app also uses device location when the user uses route tracking or location-based weather features. Voice-entry features use the Android speech-recognition service configured on the device. Operational records are stored locally on the device in this version of the app. The app lets the user intentionally export, print, back up, or share records and files. Information is sent to another app or service only when the user initiates that sharing action, except for network requests required to provide features described below.

Third-Party Services
Weather
Open-Meteo and U.S. National Weather Service provide weather and active alert data. Coordinates are used to fetch local forecasts and radar information.
Maps
OpenStreetMap map tiles are used for displaying route maps and property locations. The app relies on the Android platform's geocoding service for address lookup.
Voice Entry
Android's built-in speech-recognition service is used for voice-entry features. Audio is processed locally on the device to ensure privacy.
Location and Foreground Service
The app uses an Android location foreground service to maintain continuous route tracking when the app is in the background or the screen is off. This allows for real-time recording of your work path and accurate arrival/departure times at saved properties.
The app requests coarse and precise location permissions to provide accurate map data and weather information. However, this version does not request the Android ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION permission, ensuring your location is only used when actively tracking.
